The 2025 Mile of Minis took place the 27th April, at the BMW Mini Oxford plant bringing together MINI enthusiasts from across the UK in a fundraising drive for Buttle UK, the charity dedicated to supporting children and families in crisis.

One of the highlights at the Oxford start location was the BMH stand featuring the striking Alan Reullier Mini, proudly displayed alongside a selection of products and offerings — a perfect blend of MINI heritage and innovation that drew plenty of attention from visitors.

Participants were encouraged to raise as much as possible, with each team asked to collect a minimum of £40 — every penny of which was donated directly to Buttle UK. The collective effort aimed to make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable young people throughout the country.

The day began at MINI Plant Oxford, where teams gathered between 8:30 and 9:30 AM for registration. After parking and collecting their goody bags — which included a specially created tulip-style road book — participants had the chance to explore the MINI Visitor Centre and enjoy a hot drink before setting off.

The scenic route took drivers through the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside and into neighbouring Wiltshire. After navigating the relatively quiet Sunday roads of Oxford City, the convoy wound its way along some of the prettiest B-roads in the region, ultimately arriving at Plant Swindon.

The finish line at Plant Swindon, which produces more than 350 different pressed parts for MINI body shells, marked a rare opportunity for participants to enter a facility that seldom hosts public events. It was a fitting and memorable end to a special day — a celebration of community, motoring passion, and charitable giving.
